365 Penguins is a puppet show created  by Open Window Theatre for children aged

4 to 365.
The performance surprises with its abstract, metaphorical and visually exciting form.
You will see mathematics in an interesting way, and discover the world and nature through the eyes of a child.

 

The story unfolds in a regular house. Suddenly, the family needs to sort through

the ever growing number of unexpected guests. In this chaotic situation mathematics can come in handy: counting, sorting and more. Additionally, they have to go through lots of adventures as the unpredictable creatures keep popping up. A good collaboration can solve problems that seem too complex at first sight.

 

We humans are the only creatures on Earth that can tell stories. We do this in various ways. To us puppet theatre is the most fantastic way to tell stories. It gives endless possibilities to create, and lets us step out of the known, cross the safe boundaries

and let our imagination run wild. The authors of this performance invite you to a world filled with imaginative props and surprising stories.
