The object of Imagination is created out of love.
Puppet theater has an enormous potential, which is in constant motion and development. It is a fusion of countless theatrical and artistic expressions, which interact with each other where the use of objects in different varieties is in focus. The results are often surprising and open new doors for theater art and audiences.
I want to invite you to the fascinating world of puppetry. I want to shed light on the complexity behind the production of puppet theater and raise awareness of the values it entails for an audience.
In collaboration with Open Window Theater, Syv Mil, Plan-B Studio and the Arts Council Norway, we created a small book, which will introduce puppet theater to the audience. The book is a small introduction where we talk about the puppet theater's history, our own thoughts, visions and the company's productions.

I believe in the power of theatre and i am confident that we, all of us, benefit greatly from its stimulating effect. Setting up Open Window Theatre was a natural consequence of this belief.

Object theatre offers a valuable alternative to other theatre art forms. It fosters sensitivity among its audiences and offers a unique way to experience the world and topics that are otherwise too sensitive for traditional theatre to consider.
